It's always sad when someone dies, but the headline announcing that Elizabeth Taylor has passed on at the age of 79 is rather optimistic.
"Taylor, 79, was one of the greatest actresses of Hollywood's golden age" is how TTel puts it and I have to disagree. She was not a good actress, nor even a looker (IMO), she was barely average.
