Crossed lines of communication yesterday as it turns out Mr S had a day off and so we had to fend for ourselves for lunch. It was an overcast day, ideal for walking in the heat as no direct sun was beating down and so we decided to walk along the great Sukhumvit Road and see what was en route.
In the end we got as far as Ekkami, (BTS station #2), which took us around forty minutes. We know the area fairly well as the now defunct Thaiger, Tiger (or was it Tiger, Thaiger?) used to be there and so we took lunch in a place we'd been to before. Good choice as it was packed full of locals and we had a splendid lunch.
Two mains each, plus drinks and the bill came to under THB 350 for two. That's under seven quid and the food was deleicious. Hot, spicy, good quality and on your table swiftly.
Are you listening Sri Lanka? :o)
