About Bangkok taxi drivers:
- by law, if they are displaying they are available for hire, they must accept your fare- no matter how far, or not, it is. I believe that is also the case in the UK.
- by law, they must carry enough cash to give you change for your payment. If they say they haven't got change, stand your ground and wait for Dibble to arrive. It will never get that far.
- by, law, taxi drivers must be illegitimate.
