Main branches usually operate from 08:30 to 15:30 but, as we found out, not on public holidays. However, there are many smaller branches located everywhere and the ones in shopping malls and supermarkets will often be open up until 20:00.
Staff that lose out on bank holidays needn't worry about missing out though- they get rotated to ensure everyone gets a tilt at extra time off. Fair's fair here.
