Along with many, we've been watching the unfolding news of the ex-Cop gunman who had seized a bus load of tourists in Manila- where we head off to in a couple of week's time. Aside from Labour's running of the UK over the past decade, I can't recall a more shambolic situation as the bungled "negotiations" ended in a bloody and tragic climax.
At last count, nine poor Chinese tourists are now dead with more injured and the bungling Plod made the Keystone Cops look like the SAS. Utterly unnecessary, wholly unprofessional and vastly embarrassing to the country. It makes me wonder what to expect?
