Just a brief note to let you all know we have landed safely in Yangon and are trying to get used to life in a new country. It's truly amazing but we have no internet access to speak of as yet- but we are working on a solution as best we can. Just don't expect too much over the next few days as we head off to Mandalay on Saturday with a 05:00 start and then a 15 hour journey before we land!
Pretty much all sites are blocked (including our Gmail and Blog) and we need to circumnavigate a few obstacles before we get access- if at all. Luckily, the guys at the internet cafe are able to take us through a back route and we can get through.
Rest assured though, if there is a will there's a way and we'll be back as and when. In the mean time, we are going to really enjoy Myanmar which is already proving to be a major find on our travels.
