As said, we have booked our train journey up to Mandalay tomorrow at a cost of US$ 33 per person for a sleeper berth. It take ~15 hours and we should arrive around 20:00 - 21:00 tomorrow evening. It's the best ticket we could afford and that were available to us as some parts of the train are reserved for the elite. The army gets first choice, then VIPs and then us. Mind you, at least we get a bed- others may not be so lucky.
