We've a week in Taipei booked before we return to Bangkok in October and after much arduous research from wifey, we've found a gem. Located close to the station to allow us opportunity for away days, this hotel is also just about affordable and offers us all the facilities we need.
I think it's called the SLove Hotel but my Taiwanese ain't all that good. Here's the website- it looks great: SLove Hotel.
