It's nearly time to leave the the computer* and apologies for any typos and errors foreign keyboard and very worn) it's time to hit the streets again. We've already seen so much of the city but it's very hot in the sun and we have to be a little careful.
In Yangon everywhere is safe, the people are friendly and curious (only the money changers are a pain in the arse) and it's a very bustling and hectic place. The food is relatively more expensive but that's generally down to food shortages and we're enjoying the experience. Having scoffed in an upmarket Japanese restaurant on the first nigh (Ks 13 000 for two) and a local food stall yesterday at Ks 6 000, there is a definite difference in quality.
The extra cash is worth it once in a while it as the basic noodle/rice dishes are not quite as good as in Thailand and it's not as spicy either. Still, we won't be starving as breakfast is also included at the hotel and we are making the most of it as we only eat one further meal in the evening.
*We are paying Ks 400/hour (~30p) here and even though most sites are banned, the download rates are fine and we're getting by. It's certainly much better than we expected.
