At pay by weight fruit and salad bars, watermelon is the least economical item for the consumer.
I'm not a huge fan of this fruit (or vegetable as I believe some prefer to refer to it as, it's related to the squash or similar) as it always looks so fresh and sweet yet all you end up with is disappointment at the lack of flavour and a mouthful of seeds.
