Having visited both coasts of the country (east- Bay of Bengal and west- Arabian Sea) I have yet to see one seagull. Instead we have the ever present crows along the tides and it seems very odd to view these black feathered birds as opposed to the more traditional white coated gulls that we are used to along European shores.
Head inland and you'll see more of the same.
