Partly the reason for spending hours on foot was to attempt to locate the post office in the vain hope to find some postcards. Luckily wifey is a whizz with a map (even if the map is a bit dodgy, she is always bang on the money) and we eventually tracked it down and had another stroke of good fortune. We didn't even have to go in as there was a little stall in front with postcards and stamps for sale.
Job done without having to step into the post office (yay) and the price? Unbelievable. We bought ten posties with stamps to Europe/Canada for Ks 1 500. Just over a pound. That can't be right, can it?
