As we may have mentioned the authorities in Myanmar control which websites we are able to access and pretty much all the ones we need (eg the Blog) are off limits.
The previous posts in Yangon we've sent in via Gmail from cyber cafes and through their hacking skills we at least managed to view the Blog and see that our remote posts have arrived. Not so lucky in Mandalay, where we have finally obtained a wi-fi connection, but it is intermittent and only works in the foyer of our current hotel. Better than nothing though.
We are therefore hoping to work off-line in Gmail and then update the Blog once a day or two, which is how we kept up to date on the Australian cruise. We have no way of knowing if any of this guff gets through or what it will look like, but we're game if you are.
And as it is currently raining and wifey is having an afternoon siesta, I've got an hour to kill. :o)
