Bizarre Goals Part 1

The Independent checks out some odd goals over the seasons.  We'll spread them over the next few posts:

<b>Dirk Kuyt</b><br/> <b><i>Liverpool v Sunderland, Premier League, 2010</i></b><br/> Awarded a free-kick in their own half, Sunderland's Michael Turner lightly passed the ball backwards - apparently with the intention of allowing Black Cats goalkeeper Simon Mignolet to take the set-piece. But referee Stuart Attwell adjudged the movement of the ball to be the re-start of play. Fernando Torres raced onto it, teeing up Kuyt for a simple goal. "Absolute joke," fumed Sunderland manager Steve Bruce.
