Looking at some of the costs the post office has selected as "average" prices I am quite astounded at the figures. We've actually been to several of the places mentioned and certainly did not pay anywhere near the sums quoted.
I'd love to see the justification but as ever, that won't be forthcoming. Sorry, the idea is good (oh, hang on, that's exactly what we do on the Blog, but ours is 100% from personal experience and looking for the best deals :o)) but the results are not accurate or not enough effort has been put in to find the cheapest options. Anyone can walk in to a 5* hotel and simply take their prices, but is this really what the majority of holiday makers do? No.
