Perhaps Not

The travelling Russian circus claimed to showcase mythical beasts and stunning acts that would thrill adults and children alike with performing crocodiles and monkeys that would star alongside "orcs and turantons".


In reality they delivered some way short.  The director of the venue in the Belarusian city of Vitebsk, where the Russian circus performed said:

"When the show started, they had a few poodles and one crocodile, and the artistes kept falling off their bicycles."

He added that some of the acts seemed drunk. :o)

The circus soon left town despite selling thousands of tickets.
