Roof Top Pool

Our swimming pool opened up again this week after its annual refurbishment and yesterday we did the whole "let's be complete tourists" thing.  We went up to the 6th floor and out onto the roof to marvel at the view in blazing sunshine and then hopped into the pool which was as warm as bathwater.  Just lazily bobbing around trying to seek shelter from the scorching sun was difficult as it is not well sheltered but with the aid of baseball cap and shades, it was ever so refreshing and this could well become part if the daily routine- if I can tear myself away from the delicious A/C in our room. 

It sure is a hard life...
