Britain's Wonderful post office

My delight at the UK post office reaches new heights as they suspended deliveries to an entire street after a postal worker claimed she was bitten by a Jack Russell terrier.

Residents in more than 30 homes in Saltash, Cornwall, have been told to pick up their letters from the post office following the incident involving four-year-old Rusty.  A spokesbod for the po said the dog was "an unacceptable hazard to staff" and informed the residents that:

"We have now suspended deliveries to the whole of Newman Road.  This exceptional step has been taken in order to safeguard Royal Mail employees."
However, neighbours condemned the decision and questioned how postmen were able to reach their front doors to hand out notices informing them of the ban.

Good point- how will they counter that?
