With just a couple of weeks (sigh) to go before we have to leave Bangkok and return to Siem Reap, we contacted our friends at the City River Hotel where we stayed last time. We stayed there last November for three weeks and while it was fabulous, we really had to overspend on our budget. This time we contacted Mr Paul again and asked him if he could do us a favour and maybe offer us a discount on a room.
He came back almost immediately and has given us the best deal ever! It's so good that I can't even post up what the rate is, but a combination of it being the low season, our staying at least three weeks and giving up breakfast, has paid off.
Can't wait to see our old chums again. :o)
