Picked up on another "fault", the latest version is not compatible with Google Gears. That probably means nowt, but it's a program that allows you to use Gmail off-line and so we had to reinstall FF 3.6 on the mini HP as that comes with us on our travels and we need the ability to access our emails when not connected to the internet.
And there is still a glitch with Gmail and the older version of the browser; you can't access your mail settings. At least not directly. It's minor concern but it remains and needs looking at.
Guess that's why they call it "beta" testing.
