Chelsea Flower Show: the best of British blooming: Garden designer and six-times show gold-medal winner Tom Stewart-Smith: "If you go early, the weather is good and you take long enough to have a proper look around, then this is definitely a world class event. It can be congested sometimes but that is inevitable because it is so popular. If you have never done it before the sheer extent of it in such a small space is extraordinary. Quite a lot of these big shows can be exhausting and thankfully, Chelsea is compact. You can see the whole thing in two or three hours. And naturally the best things ever are the amazing floral displays in the show's main tent, which are unequalled anywhere around the globe."
