I needed to transfer some cash to another account and signed on as per normal, yet was denied twice using the card reader. Fearing the "three counts and out" default, I signed on manually and got through without problem.
Went off to pay the bill electronically and again, my card was rejected. Now, I am aware it expires at the end of this month; indeed, I took some cash out only yesterday, but inexplicably, I didn't seem to be able to use it on the inetrnet.
It was then that I noticed the red warning sign advising me to select which card I was using. The drop down menu revealed two numbers, my current card and what I presume to be my new card, on its way to me.
Shame they didn't make that a bit more obvious or mention this initially. Close call.
