Motorists in Bradford took advantage of a pricing error by Asda which saw petrol sold for just 12.9 pence per litre. It turns out staff at the petrol station had put the decimal point in the wrong place, leading to the discounted rate being offered on unleaded fuel on Thursday night.
Approximately 50 drivers managed to take advantage as they filled up at the automatic card-payment pumps before the mistake was spotted and corrected.
Good for them- all, both the motorists and the idiot staff for not spotting the mistake earlier and yet still selling the petrol at such a low price. :o)
