The Daily Sport and Sunday Sport could be the first British national newspapers to stop operating in almost 16 years, after Sport Media Group (SMG) announced that it has ceased trading with immediate effect and is to enter administration.
The last UK national newspaper to go to the wall was Today, which stopped trading in November 1995.
