We've mentioned this before but Cambodia, despite having a rep as one of the poorer countries in this region (and that is fair to say) still manages to boast being one of the most advanced IT linked nations. Everywhere you look you will see people watching cable TV, including local shops, market stalls, barbers, cafes and even pavement enterprises and not only that, they all offer wi-fi access- usually free.
The tiniest guest house or B & B will offer these two facilities as a matter of course and ye you try finding this in Europe as easily? Or for free, come to that? They'll charge you obscene amounts for this "privilege" and consider they're doing you a favour.
