Breakfast Blow Out

Went and had a look at what's on offer and encountered an entirely empty dining room- most people were taking their scran on the terrace in the open air.

I picked a table at random and was amused to be approached by a waiter who advised me that that table was reserved (no sign or indication it was allocated but what the hey).  I looked around at all the other empty tables but he didn't seem to understand my inference, but I was more than happy to accommodate his request and selected another table nearby.

I checked out the bog standard menu and picked the local breakfast of noodle soup with chicken and orange juice and then waited as I was repeatedly bitten by my pals the mossies.  After they'd dined and my OJ had arrived, another waiter came up to me after about 10 minutes as said that they had run out of noodles, so would flat rice noodles be OK?

I politely declined as I am not a fan of them and also refused his kind offer to get someone to run down to the shop for some more.   Considering I was already in agony from several bites I didn't fancy hanging around and so I left with my thirst quenched and not much else.

Like the TV incident, it appears the hotel is not particularly good at ensuring all is well before it's too late and that is a little disappointing.
