Back to the Curry House

Another good lunch at the family run Indian restaurant where irrespective of what's on the menu, you get what you're given.  Yesterday we were each offered the following dishes:
  • Bean soup (piping hot and a second portion after we demolished the first)
  • Salad
  • Spinach
  • Potato and French bean curry
  • Fish curry (succulent white fish with no fiddly bones and a piquant sauce)
  • Rice (again, topped up as required)
  • A dozen poppadoms
  • Chutney, pickles and chilli sauce
  • Litre bottle of water
Aside from both the veggie dishes being cold, the rest was awesome and we had to be rolled out of the restaurant as we ate fit to burst.  The bill was even more impressive.  Ks 3 300.  That's a paltry £2.30 for two people.  :o)
