Even in Myanmar we can keep up with the football scores and none are more important than Tottenham's qualifying match against Young Boys. 2-3 down after their first leg game in Switzerland, Spurs needed to win at White Hart Lane and they did so more than convincingly with a thumping 4-0 victory.
A Peter Crouch hat-trick saw the aggregate score reach 6-3 and Tottenham now make the group stages for the first time in their history- and a sackful of loot to follow.
Glory, glory days? I doubt it- at least not in my lifetime, but it's so nice to look forward to some of their results in the news without the usually doom and gloom feeling in the pit of your stomach. Happy days.
