Marilyn Monroe has been named the greatest blonde of all time after beating off competition from Cameron Diaz and Scarlett Johansson.
The "Some Like It Hot" star (who died in 1962) took top spot with actress Grace Kelly in second and Brigitte Bardot third. Cameron Diaz was the highest placed modern day star, making it into fourth.
Other women named in "Greatest Blondes of All Time" list were Holly Willoughby (5th), Madonna (11th), Tess Daly (18th) and Paris Hilton (20th)
I've barely heard of the last set and wonder just how many of the blonde burds mentioned are in fact real?
